The so-called Piccola Casa, with its wide front of windows and balcony in the direction of the vineyards in the south, stands, as an annex, to the right of the long main building of Casa Buffetto. Used in earlier times as an additional possible shelter for larger equipment used in the vineyards and in agriculture, it has now been completely restored and furnished in a modern way and has been integrated into the concept of Casa Buffetto without having lost any of its charm owing to its new use. On the contrary, like the "little farmhouse", which is to be found on many noble winegrowing estates, it stands there as it always has.

The annex has two double rooms and a gallery. Owing to the large quantity of space available, it can easily be extended to include additional accommodations. It is therefore suitable for families with small children. In the cool seasons, you can enjoy a good book in the cosy atmosphere around the central pot belly stove. In summer, you can escape the hot midday sun sitting in the shade of the portico in one of the large, wicker chairs and listen to the sound of the crickets.
