Adjacent to the kitchen, the Salotto is the large, bright breakfast room and dining hall. Here, you will find a rich and healthy breakfast buffet with homemade jams, bread, and muesli. Complementary tips for day excursions to the wineyards, historic towns, hiking in the Monferrato hills, or shopping in Alba, Asti or Torino are available from the landlady. The fireplace is always lit on cooler days when the fog is still covering the planes beneath Casa Buffetto in the morning. In summer time, the dining hall gives shelter from the heat.

On request, you will be served the refreshing House Chardonnay, small snacks, salads, as well as cold and hot beverages.

The Salotto also provides the frame for the Table d'Hôte, primarily on weekends, when guests enjoy the cooking of the owner, a cardiologist, whose innovative and inspiring menues compete with the rich fare of the best of Piemontese cooking.

Based on prior arrangements, special events (birthdays, jubilees, etc.) can be organised in the Dining Room or the Big Hall.
