To meet the highest expectations of our guests at Casa Buffetto with respect to quality, the products used in the kitchen come almost exclusively from our own vegetable and fruit production. The vegetables as well as the fruit are produced biologically or biologically-dynamically in an area of more than one hectare without influence from any chemical substances. The close vicinity of the garden allows the kitchen at Casa Buffetto to use very fresh vegetables, spices and fruit. Usually only a few hours pass between the cutting of the vegetables and spices to the serving of the dishes.

A speciality of Casa Buffetto is its own gelati or icecream production. It is a special delight to be able to enjoy on hot days the various homemade icecreams and fruit sorbets with fruit directly from the garden. A special tip to be mentioned here is the Susine Sorbet (fine plum) with its refreshing flavour, a speciality available only at Casa Buffetto. Try it!

Casa Buffetto includes over 3 ares of vegetable and spice cultivation, half an are of nocciole (hazelnut) as well as fruits such as diospyros kaki, figs, diverse cherries, apricots, quince, apples, pears, walnuts, elder berries, sweet chestnuts, susine (fine plum), prunes etc. In addition, the estate has a whole row of traditional truffle oaks, eagerly sought by truffle collectors in autumn, who frequently come by and claim to find nothing. The Tratufi (truffles) enrich the various dishes in autumn at Casa Buffetto.
