There is certainly no better way to get to know an area than on horseback. Discover therefore the famous landscape of the Roero/Langhe with its vineyards and its paths hidden among the groves of poplar trees. In this most ancient way of getting from place to place, you will see many animals in the nature reserve around Casa Buffetto that are nearly extinct in most regions of Europe. Among them are bird species which have become rare such as the pheasant, partridge and capercaillie (wood grouse). And even the threatened and extremely shy wild hare can be approached undisturbed on horseback to within just a few meters, which would hardly be possible otherwise.

Barely 5 minutes away from Casa Buffetto is the stud farm of Sign. Eliot. His stalls contain over 20 horses of almost every temperament. The horses are all kept very well groomed in generous boxes and are ridden with care. They are very sure-footed, and also enjoy a gallop. Sig. Eliot offers guided rides out lasting one to two hours, but also time on horseback in the fenced-in area as well as dressage on the course. The rides out are organized in small groups of up to 4 participants.
