Finnish Sauna
With our Finnish sauna, we offer you sauna pleasure in its original form. The Finnish sauna strengthens your immune system and trains circulation. Your skin is cleaned thoroughly and deep into the pores. Your blood pressure is regulated, and, in the case of too high blood pressure, lowered. In particular there is prevention or healing of rheumatism, and protection against colds.
The Finnish sauna is a hot-air bath at high room temperatures (100°C) and low humidity.

Soft Steam Bath or Bio-sauna
You have certainly heard of a bio-sauna, sanarium or something similar. These terms refer to a warm air bath with an air temperature of between 60 and 70°C plus a constantly low humidity. This type of warm air bath has been referred to as a sanarium since ancient Roman times. The air temperature in our sanarium is at most 65°C with a contant air humidity of 20%.
Since the soft steam bath or bio-sauna is not kept at the same high temperatures as the Finnish sauna, it is suitable in particular for persons with weak circulation or circulatory complaints. The sanarium cleans the skin, detoxifies, and helps in cases of rheumatism. It is the ideal complement for steam bath fans.

Roman Steam Bath and Diverse Herbal Baths
The steam bath dates back to ancient times. The Greeks knew it, and for the Romans it formed a permanent part of their bathing culture. It is a comfortable sweat bath, similar to the sauna, but with a completely different climate. Our steam bath is state of the art. You will encounter in our steam bath a relatively low temperature of at most 48°C, but high humidity of 60% to 70%.
The hot steam is especially beneficial in cases of illnesses of the respiratory tract and rheumatic complaints. We recommend our own herbal steam bath mixtures for various complaints and symptoms. The herbs used are biologically grown right at Casa Buffetto and are carefully mixed for each application. Please ask at the reception desk.

Between trips to the sauna, you will enjoy peace and quiet and good service. Choose a quiet place to read, sleep or relax. A sun terrace of over 200m² and a lawn with deck chairs in the service area invite you to rest by the pool.
